[February 21st,2008] -- Awarded the "Best Poster Award" for "Cell2Notify" at the annual Jacob School of Engineering, Research Expo 2008 !!

[February 1st,2008] --
Hired part-time at Microsoft Research, Cambridge
as an international consultant.
Headed to attend MSR TechFest (March 4th - 6th, 2008) in Redmond.
[September 2007] --
Started part-time consulting for a local San Diego based startup company --
AVAAK!
I will be working on designing a new architecture for their low power wireless
sensor network.
[April 20th, 2007] --
Got an offer from Microsoft Research, Cambridge, UK to spend the summer with
them !! :-)
I will be working with Steve Hodges (MSR-C),
Ranveer Chandra (Redmond) and
Victor Bahl
(Redmond) ! Yea!!
[April 15th, 2007] -- "Cell2Notify"
demo proposal accepted at
Mobisys 2007 -- Please stop by if you are attending !
[March 4th, 2007] -- Our "Wireless
Wakeups Revisited: Energy Management for VoIP over a WiFi enabled Smartphone"
paper got accepted to
Mobisys 2007 !!!
I will be headed to Puerto Rico in June to present it ! Yea !!
[Jan 15th, 2007] -- Our
proposal for a workshop (MobiEval 2007) got accepted -- the workshop is co-located with
Mobisys '07 !
I am co-chairing the workshop along with Trevor Pering and Mark Corner.

[ Sept 27th , 2006] -- Back from my Internship
@ Microsoft Research, Redmond. I had a fantastic summer there
and met some amazing
researchers ! Seattle is an awesome place (especially in summer) !!
[ June 30th, 2006] -- Back from trip to Europe
to present "CoolSpots" at Mobisys (Uppsala).
Also got to travel to France to present my recent research at INRIA, Rennes.
[ May 2nd, 2006] -- Got an offer from
Microsoft Research to come up and
work with them in Seattle !!
I will be working in the
Networking Research
Group @ MSR (Redmond) under
the guidance of
Ranveer Chandra and
Victor Bahl !
[March 15th, 2006] -- Successfully passed my PhD research exam!
[March 10th, 2006] -- Our "CoolSpots" paper got accepted at
Mobisys 2006!
I will
get to go to Sweden in June to present it ! yea!
[Jan 2nd, 2006] -- Finished my stint at Intel Research in the bay area.
I was there all of Summer and Fall 2005 !
I was working with the
Intel Ubiquity
Group under the guidance of
Roy Want and
Trevor Pering.
