About me

In my previous life, I was a rocket engineer (rocket scientist would require a PhD) working at JPL in Pasadena, CA. For those of you who do not know, JPL is a NASA center managed privately by Caltech (I didn't know until I got hired, so don't feel bad). Prior to that exciting time lapse, I was busy getting my B.S. and M.S. at the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. Before suffering in that sad existence of a "city", I was avoiding the common beatings from the local bullies in a suburb outside of Chicago. Needless to say, I have a limited supply of nostalgic memories of the midwest.
